Exagon Impact Capital (“XIC”) is pleased to announce that Claudia Ruemmelein has joined as Managing Director – Head of Fundraising and Investor Relations, adding additional experienced talent to the new management firm’s veteran team.
Claudia Ruemmelein is a seasoned asset management professional with a successful track record raising capital on behalf of infrastructure, energy, private equity and private credit funds with a focus in Latin America. Prior to joining Exagon, Claudia was the founder and managing partner of Mesa Capital Partners, a bespoke placement agent and advisory firm where she led capital raises representing pioneering private equity and credit funds focusing on infrastructure, energy, and real estate in the region.
Prior to Mesa, Claudia was the Director for Latin America and US East Coast Coverage at First Avenue Partners, a leading London based private placement firm. Previous to First Avenue, she worked at Apollo Management and Strategic Value Partners. Claudia began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in its distressed debt fund and restructuring practice. Claudia is fluent in German, English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
